Cancer Center Announces “Comedy For A Cause”
Denise Wilson, chair for the 19th annual June E. Nylen Cancer Center fundraiser is pleased to announce this year’s event “Comedy For A Cause”. The event will be held Friday, March 31 2017 at Country Celebrations Event Center in Sioux City. The evening is casual, fun and includes a fabulous social and dinner, live auction and comedy show.The June E. Nylen Cancer Center is known for providing exceptional care to the Siouxland community, and has done so for twenty-two years. An important aspect of cancer care is investing in state-of-the-art equipment and a trained and caring staff. Proceeds from this event will benefit all patients who receive cancer care by providing continued new technology at the June E. Nylen Cancer Center.For this fundraising event, tickets are $125 each or a table of eight for $950. The ticket includes a full evening: Social hour at 5:30 pm; a fabulous dinner followed by a live auction at 6:30pm; and to close the evening at 8:00pm the nationally known comedian Joe Matarese.The comedian Joe Matarese was first known for his appearance on America's Got Talent. His comic act pokes fun at his dysfunctional Italian family, life with two small children and being married to a psychologist.
