Responsible for performing all required PET, PET/CT and nuclear medicine procedures through proper positioning and technique and demonstrating good judgment in evaluating the diagnostic studies. Must be a graduate of an accredited 2 or 4 year nuclear medicine program and must be a Registered Technologist or registry eligible. Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of Iowa. Must obtain and maintain CPR and Child and Adult Mandatory Reporter Certification. Prior related experience preferred. Must demonstrate professionalism and service excellence in all encounters and have excellent interpersonal skills.
Assistant performs patient assessment using established protocols in friendly, courteous manner. Takes medical history and updates patient information accurately in an EMR. Prepares patient charts including all applicable lab and radiology reports for physician. Stocks and cleans exam rooms. Files, copies and sends out all patient correspondence records and reports electronically. Completes medical record requests as needed. Will assist with disability forms and receptionist duties as needed.
Must be an LPN or Certified Medical Assistant who has completed a medical assistant program and externship or have equivalent work experience. Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently and multi-task in busy environment while maintaining high degree of accuracy.
Will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the functions of the billing and front office functions for June E Nylen Cancer Center. The Business Office Manager will perform a variety of duties related to front office or billing functions, including, but is not limited to, training and supervision of staff, development of departmental policies and procedures, and ensuring the timely scheduling of patients and timely billing and collections of monies due.
Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting or related field strongly preferred. Two years leadership experience in a medical office to include supervision of staff required. Must be proficient in use of personal computers and have ability to learn and teach applicable software. Must demonstrate professionalism and service excellence in all encounters and possess strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
PRN position available for phlebotomist who serves patients by identifying the best method for retrieving specimens and preparing specimens for laboratory testing.
One year phlebotomy experience is required; three years phlebotomy experience preferred. Must have knowledge of good laboratory practices.

Provides medical oncology nursing care to patients by utilizing the nursing process and meeting established Cancer Center standards. Will administer chemo, perform workroom duties, complete evaluations, and assist in pharmacy, etc.
Must possess strong clinical skills. Current RN license required and clinical experience in acute care setting or equivalent experience strongly preferred (additional experience in oncology beneficial). Need to be CPR and mandatory reporter certified or willing to become certified.
PRN position available for certified MT to be responsible for general hematology, chemistry, urinalysis and coagulation studies. Must follow laboratory procedures and quality control policies for specimen handling and processing. Must have the ability to identify problems that may adversely affect test results. Must be skilled at phlebotomy draws. PC skills are necessary to work with LIS and EMR programs.
