Plans, implements, manages and coordinates the marketing and fundraising activities of the June E. Nylen Cancer Center and Siouxland Paramedics. Fundraising could include special events, appeals, estate planning and management of donations. Occasional travel within Siouxland.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communication-related field required. Master’s degree preferred. Must have a minimum of three years leadership experience in marketing, PR, or communications. Additional three years development experience preferred. Must demonstrate professionalism and possess strong communication skills.
CRA screens potential participants for entry into clinical trials, provides support in coordinating all aspects of the clinical management of research participants according to clinical trial protocols. Maintains regulatory documents, completes case report forms and participates in activities of monitoring/auditing as assigned by the Research Director. Adheres to the principles of Service Excellence and the philosophy and mission of the June E. Nylen Cancer Center (JENCC) in all aspects of job performance.
Must have a current RN license or be a Medical Technologist or have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience. These qualifications may be waived if applicant has prior experience in clinical research. Must be proficient in keyboarding for data entry and letter writing. Position requires an aptitude for numbers and a meticulous approach to detail.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with excellent customer service skills to facilitate the exchange of information with patient and family members.
Provides medical oncology nursing care to patients by utilizing the nursing process and meeting established Cancer Center standards. Will administer chemo, perform workroom duties, complete evaluations, and assist in pharmacy, etc.
Must possess strong clinical skills. Current RN license required and clinical experience in acute care setting or equivalent experience strongly preferred (additional experience in oncology beneficial). Need to be CPR and mandatory reporter certified or willing to become certified.
PRN position available for certified MT to be responsible for general hematology, chemistry, urinalysis and coagulation studies. Must follow laboratory procedures and quality control policies for specimen handling and processing. Must have the ability to identify problems that may adversely affect test results. Must be skilled at phlebotomy draws. PC skills are necessary to work with LIS and EMR programs.
