Band LOCKED n LOADED hosts New Years Eve Bash!

The band Locked n Loaded along with KSUX is sponsoring a New Years Eve Bash, Friday, December 31 with a portion of “pink tickets” proceeds to benefit the June E. Nylen Cancer Center.“The band wants to honor Bill Prince who was the lead singer of a popular Sioux City band & Iowa Rock N Roll Hall of Fame inductee Lockwood. Bill was also a patient of the Cancer Center, but unfortunately lost his battle with cancer March 13, 2010. In honor of Bill's giving nature the band felt the patient assistance fund was a perfect way to honor Bill,” said Chad Sheehan, organizer and band member. Those purchasing a $10 pink ticket in advance from the Cancer Center will enjoy an evening of the top 40 country/southern rock songs and the music of special guest Byron Kuehl at Lewis Bowl Annex. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m.“The Cancer Center appreciates Locked n Loaded taking an interest in our services and giving back to help our patients,” said Pat Hubbard, director of fund development. We hope lots of people turn out for this event.”The proceeds from the first annual “New Years Eve Bash” will be directed to the Patient Assistance Fund and will help meet the needs of patients.
