Nylan Cancer Center, to meet Dr. Santiago Moscoso. Dr. Santiago Moscoso Serving Wayne Area at PMCOncologist Dr. Santiago Moscoso recently joined the staff of the June E. Nylen Cancer Center and is now seeing patients at the Providence Medical Center Outpatient Services Department on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.A native of Ecuador, Mr. Moscoso received his medical degree from Central University of Ecuador in Quito, Ecuador with his Residency in Internal Medicine at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. Fluent in Spanish and English, he comes here from Brooklyn, NY, where he served his Fellowship in Oncology and Hematology at the Brooklyn Hospital Center.Dr. Moscoso specializes in cancer immunotherapy. Also known as "oncoimmunotherapy," the treatment is designed to boost the body's natural defenses to fight cancer using substances made by the body or in a laboratory to improve or restore immune system function.
