Eat at Chili's Help Cancer Patients!

The June E. Nylen Cancer Center is partnering with Chili’s for their Charity Night on Monday, September 16 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. with all tips and ten percent of sales benefitting cancer patients.The evening is a kick-off celebration for the 17th annual Race for Hope. Come meet Race Ambassadors Beth Anderson and Tayvin Schmoll and celebrity wait staff from the Sioux City Schools and others. Enjoy dinner and register for prizes while supporting a great cause.The Race for Hope is Saturday, September 21 at Adams Homestead & Nature Preserve; registration begins at 7:00 a.m. The Race for Hope has something for everyone: including kids’ activities and an opportunity to honor and remember those touched by cancer. Participants may walk or run in a 5K or 15K and kids may participate in a 1K fun run.Chili's began their Charity Night as a way to give back to the community and encourage people to support a local non-profit. They have given back thousands of dollars to local charities. Chili's and other food vendors have generously donated the post race food for the last five years which includes delicious sandwiches, fresh fruit, chips, salsa and dessert.“The Cancer Center appreciates the opportunity to partner with Chili’s and we appreciate the support from our community,” said Pat Hubbard, director of fund development.Tips from the evening and ten percent of sales from now until September 26 will support the Race for Hope with one hundred percent of the proceeds staying here in Sioux City to directly benefit cancer patients.
