Icon Ag & Turf Participates in Breast Cancer Awareness

LE MARS, IA -- During October, Icon Ag & Turf is joining the fight against cancer and asking employees to wear pink on Fridays to help support breast cancer prevention awareness and research during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All funds raised will be donated to the June E. Nylen Cancer Center in Sioux City, Iowa to help increase awareness of the disease, raise funds for research, offer helpful information to support those affected by breast cancer, and remind women on the importance of early detection.Adam Timmerman, General Manager at Icon Ag & Turf, stated, “We are proud to help create awareness for breast cancer prevention and bring the message into our workplace. This program offers our employees a unique opportunity to join the fight against cancer.”Icon Ag & Turf has already received a donation amount of $2,225 directly from employees, which will be donated directly to the June E. Nylen Cancer Center. The company is going to donate an additional $1,000 to the June E. Nylen Cancer Center.
