Join us for the Komen Race for the Cure

The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is just a few days away. The Siouxland event is Sunday, Mother's Day, at 9 a.m. in downtown Sioux City.  The race begins on Pierce Street near the Long Lines Family Center, and runs through downtown Sioux City, ending in the Tyson Events Center.Come join us for this fun celebration of life and breast cancer survivorship. It's an opportunity you won't forget.If you haven't yet registered, you're running out of time. May 5 at noon is the deadline for turning in all pledge money to be eligible for prizes. May 8 at noon is the deadline to register as a competitive runner. Participants may register the day of the event to participate, but why would you want to wait in line? Avoid the hassle and register online now.This year's event already has a great deal more participants registered than the 2009 race. Additionally we have more vendors at the expo and we also have a special area just for breast cancer survivors.
