KTIV Healthbeat Story Helps Raise Awareness About New PET Scan for Neuroendocrine Tumors

Watch the story from May 11 about a new specialized PET/CT scan available to patients in Siouxland. This scan, called Detectnet™ or Cu-64 Dotatate, uses a different radioactive diagnostic agent specifically for detecting, staging, and restaging neuroendocrine tumors. It is a newer diagnostic test and not every cancer center can do this type of scan on their PET yet. We are proud to offer here in our community to save patients from traveling for this specialized scan.
