Logan Street Production is hosting Cancer Sucks! Comedy Rocks!
Logan Street Productions along with Chesterfield’s Live Music Club is sponsoring a comedy night, Sunday, March 18 with proceeds benefiting the June E. Nylen Cancer Center.“Logan Street Productions and Chesterfield’s have teamed up to honor my Dad, Kenneth Olson who was a patient of the Cancer Center, but unfortunately lost his battle. In honor of my Dad’s giving nature we felt the patient assistance fund was a perfect way to honor him,” said John Olson, organizer.Those attending will enjoy an evening of open mic and improv comedy, silent auction and chili feed featuring Ken’s chili recipe. Doors open at 5 p.m., comedy show starts at 7 p.m. with a free will donation at the door. The show is open to all ages.“The Cancer Center appreciates Logan Street Productions and Chesterfield’s taking an interest in our services and giving back to help our patients,” said Pat Hubbard, director of fund development. We hope lots of people turn out for this event.”The proceeds from the first annual Cancer Sucks! Comedy Rocks! will be directed to the Patient Assistance Fund and will help meet the needs of patients.
