North High Student Council Donates Care-Bags

The North High Student Council organized to have students donate toward "Care-bags" for patients at the June E Nylen Cancer Center. This is an annual project led by a committee of dedicated NHS students. Each bag had a message and included a bottle of water, crackers, lotion, hand sanitizer and lip balm.  As you can see by the picture we have carts and carts full of bags which is so appreciated to patients who are here each day or each week for their treatment.The students went through the lobby and personally handed out the gift bags.  There were so many wonderful smiles and hugs!  It is great to see the compassion and leadership in students here in Siouxland.Our patients deeply appreciate this!  We are proud of the Sioux City Community School District  #SCCSD
