Rope for Hope benefits June E. Nylen Cancer Center

May 26, 2010Area cowboys, cowgirls, their friends and families united to “Rope for Hope” – a benefit for the June E. Nylen Cancer Center.  Held May 15, north of Sioux City, the event raised nearly $2,000. Dozens of participants in the Rope for Hope paid an entry fee and showcased their roping skills.Organizers said the Rope for Hope event turned out to be a great success and far exceeded their goals.  They said they truly hope this money can assist the June E.
