During her Residency Dr. Javvaji did clinical research on treatments for prostate cancer at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

Meet Dr. Chandana Javvaji
“I became a physician to reduce pain and suffering and was fascinated by the field of oncology because of the continual advancements in developing new treatments for many previously untreatable cancers. I know cancer is a difficult diagnosis for patients and I want to be there for them, help them understand the disease process, guide them through treatments, and provide support when times are challenging.
I joined the June E. Nylen Cancer Center in 2019. I was impressed with the well-established, state-of-the-art cancer center and the excellent team of cancer care specialists. The nursing team and the support staff are friendly and highly efficient and our patient population is diverse, warmhearted, and welcoming.”
Dr. Javvaji is compassionate and an excellent communicator. In her free time, Dr. Javvaji enjoys spending time with family, traveling, cooking, and watching movies.
