At this time we are piloting the eConsult Program with just leukemia and lymphoma patients. We have always encouraged second opinions if patients wanted one and the eConsult Program is a convenient option for our most complex leukemia and lymphoma cases that saves them the time and cost of going to a second facility.

While some of the unrestricted funds were set aside for strategic priorities and patient programs and support services, all employees had an opportunity to submit a Request for Funding. A committee made up of representatives from each department reviewed and scored all of the requests. The Committee then met and finalized the allocation of funds.
